Creating Triggers for Emarsys Integration

​

1. To create a Trigger for Emarsys, navigate to the top menu and select Functions Create Trigger

 

2. Click on Emarsys Create button

 

3. The Create Trigger page will load. Enter your Internal Trigger Reference, for example: Type "New Emarsys Trigger"

 

4. Click on Select Response Type and choose either SMS or MMS.

 

5. Begin creating your text message. First add your Trackerlink. For example: Type "http://www.mydomain/landing-page"

 

6. Add a Subject if creating an MMS Trigger

 

7. Click on MMS Template to select MMS Template you'd like to add.

 

8. All your MMS Templates will appear. Click to select one to use in your trigger.

 

9. Click on View Tags

 

10. Begin adding text and tags for your text message.

 

11. Remember to add your Trackerlink tag -

 

12. Ensure you have an appropriate optout message. You can use the default option or Add your own custom optout message.

 

13. Click on Refresh…this will update the latest fields from Emarsys for you to use.

 

14. Use the Select Button to map your required tags to the appropriate Emarsys fields.

 

15. Click on a list to map trigger tags to with Emarsys fields

 

16. You can use the Search bar to find your lists easily

 

17. Last Step is to Save

 

18. Click on Return to Triggers to go to Trigger Summary tab on Functions Summary page. Functions Functions Summary

 

19. You will find all your Triggers under the Trigger tab on the Functions Summary page.

 

20. To Edit a trigger, choose the Edit icon next to the trigger you'd like to edit. And make your changed and click Save. You will then find your edited trigger in the same Functions Summary page under the Trigger tab.
